The Carolina Hurricanes will host a draft party at Lenovo Center on Friday, June 24. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m., with draft coverage starting at 7:00 p.m. The Carolina Hurricanes hold two picks in the first round (13th and 21st).

The event will take place on the club level in the Arena Club Restaurant, Club Ledge bar and applicable seating areas of Lenovo Center. This layout offers a wide variety of seating options aimed to accommodate groups of all sizes. The draft will be shown on all TVs in the restaurant and bar, as well as the video board. A special draft day food and beverage menu will be offered with discounted pricing. Doors to the event will open at 6:00 p.m. Fans should park in the VIP lot and enter via the VIP entrance of the building. 

The draft party will be hosted by Carolina Hurricanes TV play-by-play announcer John Forslund and Canes alumnus and Hurricanes Live co-host Shane Willis, both offering a local and national perspective on this year's draft. The duo will have the draft covered from all angles: Forslund is viewed as one of the premier broadcasters at both a local and national level and Willis, drafted in 1995 and 1997, can offer draft insight from a player's perspective and as an NHL analyst. Forslund and Willis will break down this year's prospects and the Canes' pick, in addition to answering questions before and during the draft.

In addition to the exclusive draft coverage and insight, fans in attendance will have the chance to win Hurricanes autographs, team memorabilia and Canes gear from The Eye team store. Stormy and the Storm Squad will be present for autographs and photo opportunities.
