Security + Guest Experience Intern

The Security + Guest Experience Intern plays an important role in creating fun and safe experiences at Lenovo Center by supporting the largest event staff department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the creation and distribution of the Security and Guest Experience Monthly Newsletter
- Support the full-time staff with event planning, including VIP activations and private events
- Maintain supplies inventory for the department
- Work with the full-time staff on staff appreciation, including but not limited to the Employee and Supervisor of the Month programs
- Oversee staff readiness and assist during various events
- Support fan experience programs such as the “My First Game” initiative and more
This internship will run through the end of hockey season typically sometime between mid -April and June. Pay is $7.25 per hour
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Candidates must be based near the Triangle area and should be entering their junior or senior years of college.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Availability to work 10- 20 hours per week, including some nights and weekends
- Must pass a criminal background check
